She is also responsible for formulating and implementing goals and objectives, administrative efficiency, compliance with legal standards, staff management and development as well as stakeholder engagement.
Mr Luke M. Malindzisa
DCG Operations and Correctional Management
Responsible for overseeing the core functions of the department, ensuring safe custody, rehabilitation, and re-integration of offenders. He also provides oversight of operational functions for Regional Commissioners, Royal Close Protection and Royal Guards Units, Intelligence and Rapid Response.
Mr Bongani F. Khumalo
DCG Rehabilitation and Re-integration and Community Corrections
Responsible for the monitoring and administration of rehabilitation and re-integration programs in the department. He also oversees the humane and safe custody of offenders in line with international standards.
Mr Vusi Kunene
DCG Corporate Services
Responsible for overseeing Corporate/Administrative divisions and supports the core mission of Corrections and Rehabilitation. He also drives digital transformation initiatives by overseeing ICT systems, strengthening data management, and ensuring cybersecurity within the department. His leadership supports the modernization of services and integration with broader e- government systems. He also manages stakeholder relations, fostering partnerships with government and external organizations and promotes a positive institutional image.

Commandant is responsible for the administration, training and development of trainees in the department.

Responsible for the overall planning and administration of the agriculture section of the department
