CHAPLAINCY SERVICES

The Chaplaincy section provides spiritual care for both offenders and officers; to enhance the protection of civil society by actively encouraging and assisting offenders to safely and successfully reintegrate to society. This is done by providing them with practical, spiritual, emotional, and social support through the spiritual care programme. The section co-ordinates religious activities, offer counseling services and help in the re-integration of offenders upon release.

Offenders hold communal devotions every Sundays. They are also allowed to hold separate devotions according to their denominations or religious beliefs. Through partnerships with our stakeholders, offenders are given opportunities to further their education in Theology or Bible studies.
