ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Vulamasango School dates back to the 1970s when it was still known as Mdvutjane Primary. A high school was later introduced and in 2015 the school was officially launched by His Majesty King Mswati III and renamed Vulamasango School.

The main objective of the school is to break the cycle of crime and the offending spree amongst incarcerated or behaviourally troubled teenagers and young community members by rehabilitating them through academic and vocational education. With these rehabilitation programmes, the school has helped reshape the lives and futures of numerous children, some of which are currently in gainful employment; some are small business owners while others are still pursuing their education at various tertiary institutions across the country.
